ADVISING: Women's Conference Planning and Management

Celebrating Women in Business (CWIB)

Celebrating Women in Business Conference and Trade Show (CWIB) is designed to stimulate economic growth through training, networking, and inspiration. It targets current and prospective entrepreneurs – both women and men who are self-employed and those who work for a small business.

This highly popular, all-day event includes:

  • An acclaimed keynote speaker
  • Six breakout training sessions on various topics
  • An 80-booth trade show
  • A continental breakfast, networking luncheon, and afternoon refreshments
  • A fashion show, featuring fashion from locally owned stores
  • A Grand Prize worth $1,000 and many more door prizes
Attendees receive valuable training to use in their workplace, awareness of community resources, and an outstanding opportunity to network for success with entrepreneurs from many business environments.

Because of high unemployment, record numbers of women and men are seeking self-employment for reliable financial independence. We bring hope, inspiration, guidance, and training to individuals on this path.

CWIB has been held 10 times since 2003 in Binghamton, New York, with 200-250 attendees. Ginny Robert, the owner of Business Plans That ROCK!, has been the Co-Chair three times and the Chair seven times. She has developed and managed all aspects of this event. She is available to mentor you, give all necessary instructions, and provide conference forms and marketing materials to enable you to have a successful event in your community. Please call for additional information.
"The Celebrating Women in Business Conferences that I have attended were exciting, engaging and a place to network, meet others and support each other's businesses. The guest speakers have been awesome and with each passing year the topics are relevant and help you learn something about running your business. There has been food, raffles with prizes, a runway show with the latest styles! Always a great way to spend your day!"
